Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, mulching, and edging to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
• Identify various plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers to ensure proper care and health of landscape features
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal with proper safety procedures
• Use hand tools and heavy equipment like excavators for landscape installation or renovation projects
• Apply pesticides responsibly following safety guidelines to protect plants from pests and diseases
• Maintain hardscape features such as pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other structures with precision and care
• Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible
• Assist with construction projects related to landscape design or renovation under supervision

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of lawn equipment, power tools, and irrigation systems
• Extensive experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and lawn care practices
• Ability to identify plants accurately and understand horticultural principles
• Knowledge of pesticide management for safe application and environmental compliance
