Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and watering to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and excavators safely and efficiently
• Support landscape construction projects by preparing sites, installing hardscape features like pathways or retaining walls, and assisting with planting and tree care
• Perform routine groundskeeping duties including snow plowing during winter months and debris removal to ensure safety and aesthetics year-round
• Identify plants, trees, pests, and diseases to support proper horticultural practices and pest management strategies
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
• Maintain equipment records, report any issues promptly, and assist with general site upkeep to uphold high standards of grounds maintenance

Qualifications

• Prior outdoor work experience or background in landscaping or groundskeeping is highly desirable
• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools, power equipment, irrigation systems, and construction machinery such as excavators is preferred
