Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep grounds pristine.
• Identify and care for a variety of plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to promote healthy growth.
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, shovels, and lawnmowers efficiently and safely.
• Conduct pest control activities including pesticide management while adhering to safety protocols.
• Install and repair hardscape features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other landscape structures.
• Operate construction equipment such as excavators when necessary for larger landscaping projects or site preparation.
• Provide tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal to maintain safety and aesthetics.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure clear pathways and driveways.
• Maintain equipment through routine inspections and repairs to ensure optimal performance.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping machinery and tools.
• Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and hardscape installation.
