Duties

• Assist with planting, pruning, and tree care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and excavators safely and efficiently
• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to maintain lush, vibrant lawns
• Support landscape installation projects by preparing soil, laying hardscape features like patios or walkways, and installing irrigation systems
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mulching, weeding, and seasonal clean-up including snow plowing during winter months
• Pressure cleaning, light irrigation repairs, pool cleaning, etc
• Help with tree trimming and pruning to ensure safety and enhance landscape beauty
• Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety and optimal performance

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge to operate tools and machinery effectively
• Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment confidently
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape practices is a plus
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions; able to lift heavy materials when needed
