Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators and snow plows safely and efficiently
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens
• Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to maintain healthy landscapes and manage pest control responsibly
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal while adhering to safety standards
• Implement hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other landscape features
• Maintain equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscaping or related construction fields with a strong understanding of horticulture practices
• Mechanical knowledge for operating equipment like excavators, lawnmowers, snow plows, and other power tools
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, gardening, tree trimming, and hardscape installation
• Ability to identify plants accurately and manage pesticide applications following safety protocols
