Responsibilities

• Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to keep grass healthy and attractive
• Maintain landscape features including flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements such as pathways and patios
• Identify and manage plant health issues through proper pruning, pest control, and plant identification techniques
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as tractor / mowers safely and efficiently
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting, watering, mulching, and seasonal clean-up activities like snow plowing when necessary
• Assist with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Support construction projects involving softscape installation or landscape redesigns.

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and hand tools
• Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred
• Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Prior experience operating equipment such as mowers, snow plows, tractors or other construction machinery is a plus
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid drivers license with good driving record
• Experience pulling trailers
