Duties

• Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to ensure healthy and vibrant turf
• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, mulching, and irrigation system installation or repair
• Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers, saws) safely and efficiently
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients
• Conduct routine landscape maintenance tasks to uphold the aesthetic standards of client properties
• Assist with equipment maintenance and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance of landscaping tools and machinery

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening preferred but not required; training provided for motivated learners
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions; stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and operating equipment throughout the day
