Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, trimming, pruning, and planting to enhance curb appeal.
• Use hand tools and small machinery like shovels, rakes, and hedge trimmers to shape gardens and beds.
• Assist with hardscape projects including the installation of pathways, patios, or retaining walls when needed.
• Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or de-icing during winter months to ensure safety and accessibility.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and making necessary repairs to ensure proper watering.
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, or removal with proper techniques and safety procedures.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment and power tools for safe operation and maintenance.
• Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices to deliver high-quality results.
• Ability to operate small construction equipment such as excavators when required for site preparation or hardscape installation.
• Knowledge of tree care including trimming, pruning, and health assessment techniques.
