Duties

• Mow lawns using power mowers, ensuring even cutting and a manicured appearance.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, trimming, pruning, and shrubbery care to promote healthy growth.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including planting, digging, aerating, and soil preparation.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary repairs to ensure proper watering.
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and assessing tree health to support safety and aesthetics.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and accessible.
• Support hardscape projects by preparing surfaces, laying pavers or stones, and installing features like patios or walkways.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating lawn care equipment and hand tools.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques, horticulture principles, and garden maintenance practices.
• Experience with landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting.
• Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, excavators, and other landscaping machinery safely.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair is a plus.
• Strong understanding of tree care practices including trimming and health assessment.
