Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and excavators safely and efficiently
• Assist with installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls using appropriate tools and techniques
• Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to support proper care and maintenance routines
• Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or leaf removal to ensure safe and accessible outdoor areas year-round
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety

Experience

• Prior experience with landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners
• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and hand tools is advantageous
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, gardening, and plant identification is a plus
• Construction experience or knowledge of hardscape installation can be beneficial for assisting with larger projects
