Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure lush, healthy turf
• Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements with pruning, trimming, planting, and weeding
• Operate hand tools and power equipment such as trimmers, blowers, shovels, rakes, and lawnmowers efficiently and safely
• Use construction and excavation machinery like excavators for site preparation or landscape installation projects
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
• Perform general groundskeeping duties including debris removal, soil preparation, planting new greenery, and routine maintenance checks

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge for operating various landscaping machinery and hand tools safely
• Expertise in lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest management
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques such as pruning, tree care (trimming and removal), gardening practices, and hardscape installation
• Experience with irrigation system setup and troubleshooting to promote healthy plant growth
