Duties

• Mow lawns, trim edges, and perform detailed landscape maintenance to uphold high aesthetic standards
• Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers efficiently and safely
• Assist with planting, pruning, and tree care to promote healthy growth and landscape vitality
• Maintain irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper watering schedules for optimal plant health
• Use hand tools and heavy machinery like excavators for landscape installation or hardscape projects
• Identify various plants, pests, and diseases to support effective plant care and pest management strategies
• Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe during inclement weather

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and hand tools is highly desirable
• Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or lawn care is preferred but not required—training will be provided
• Ability to identify different plant species and understand basic horticultural principles
• Knowledge of pesticide management practices to ensure safe application when necessary
• Experience with irrigation systems installation, repair, or troubleshooting is a plus
• Construction or landscaping experience involving hardscape features such as patios or walkways is advantageous
