Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces lush and inviting
• Operate hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, excavators, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to ensure proper care and pest management strategies are implemented
• Manage irrigation systems for optimal watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety
• Assist with hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to maintain safe access for clients
• Follow safety protocols related to pesticide management, equipment operation, and construction procedures

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools
• Prior experience in landscape maintenance or Installation preferred; construction experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification and lawn care techniques
