• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for planting, digging, and other landscaping activities.
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health of landscape features.
• Conduct landscape construction projects such as installing hardscape elements like patios, walkways, or retaining walls.
• Apply pesticides responsibly following safety protocols to protect plants from pests and diseases.
• Maintain equipment including lawnmowers, excavators, snow plows, and other machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide tree care services such as trimming, pruning, or removal to promote safety and aesthetic appeal.
• Assist with seasonal tasks like snow plowing or seasonal planting to keep landscapes attractive year-round.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscaping or related construction fields with a strong understanding of horticulture principles.
• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to identify plants accurately and understand their specific care requirements.
