Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure pristine outdoor spaces.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, edging, and general upkeep.
• Install hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structural elements.
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety.
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients.
• Support general gardening activities including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while applying horticultural best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience with landscaping tasks such as lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening.
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment including excavators, tree trimmers, and snow plows.
• Familiarity with land management techniques involving hardscape installation and irrigation systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles related to plant health, tree care, and garden design.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
