Landscaper / Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general labor in outdoor settings.

Duties

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, edging, and mowing.
• Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, and planting.
• Assist with groundskeeping duties such as litter removal and cleanup.
• Install and maintain landscape features like flower beds, lawns, and hedges.
• Install and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways and retaining walls.
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
• Perform tree trimming and removal as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Must have valid MA driver's license and reliable transportation & ability to drive company trucks
• Knowledge of proper lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices.
• Experience with tree trimming and tree care is preferred.
• Ability to drive heavy dump trucks and tow trailers of various sizes loaded with equipment
• Ability to dig, build, and maintain various landscape features effectively.
• Familiarity with using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power equipment.
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods outdoors.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while following instructions.
