Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
• Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and pest management
• Manage irrigation systems to optimize water use and maintain healthy landscapes
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal as needed for safety and aesthetics
• Implement hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, retaining walls, or other landscape features
• Assist with seasonal tasks like snow plowing or winterizing landscapes to keep properties maintained year-round

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators or lawn mowers
• Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture practices
• Ability to identify plants accurately and manage pest control responsibly using pesticide management techniques
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting for efficient watering solutions
• Construction experience related to hardscape installation or landscape structures is a plus
• Strong understanding of tree care practices including trimming and health assessment
