Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, trimming trees, and edging lawns to ensure pristine outdoor spaces.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, soil preparation, and installing landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Operate heavy machinery like excavators and other construction equipment safely to assist with site preparation and hardscape installation.
• Conduct lawn care activities such as aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons to keep landscapes healthy year-round.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing necessary repairs to ensure proper watering schedules.
• Assist with tree care including trimming, pruning, planting new trees, and ensuring overall tree health through proper horticultural practices.
• Support garden development by planting flowers, shrubs, and other greenery while adhering to sustainable landscaping principles.

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping or horticulture is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems related to lawn care equipment, irrigation systems, and construction machinery is highly desirable.
