Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as trimming, digging, planting, and installing landscape features.
• Operate heavy machinery like excavators and other construction equipment to assist with grading, excavation, or hardscape installation projects.
• Maintain lawns and gardens through proper irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and seasonal snow plowing when necessary.
• Install and repair hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape features.
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth.
• Assist with landscape design planning by providing input on plant selection and layout to create visually appealing environments.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscaping or horticulture is highly preferred; familiarity with lawn care and landscape maintenance is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge of various tools including hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators is required.
