Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces tidy and attractive
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently for planting, grading, or hardscape installation
• Conduct lawn care activities like aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and weed control to promote healthy turf growth
• Implement landscape projects involving planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing irrigation systems or hardscape features such as patios or walkways
• Maintain equipment through routine inspections and repairs to ensure optimal performance during daily operations
• Assist with snow plowing and removal during winter months to ensure safe access around properties
• Provide expert tree care including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to preserve safety and aesthetics

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools
• Proven experience in lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance practices
• Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for construction or hardscape projects
• Knowledge of horticulture principles related to plant health, soil management, and irrigation systems
