Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, edging, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators and snow plows safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support healthy growth and effective pest management strategies
• Execute hardscape projects such as patio installation, walkway construction, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal to promote safety and aesthetics
• Maintain equipment through regular inspections and repairs to ensure reliable performance during all seasons

Experience

• Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping with a strong understanding of horticulture principles
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating landscaping machinery like mowers, excavators, and irrigation systems
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, gardening, and snow plowing
• Ability to identify various plants and trees accurately for proper care and maintenance
• Construction experience preferred for hardscape installation projects
• Knowledge of safety protocols when handling power tools, heavy machinery.
