Responsibilities

• Perform landscape installation including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways
• Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure lush, healthy turf
• Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other machinery safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and seasonal snow plowing when necessary
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering of plants and lawns
• Carry out garden care activities including soil preparation, mulching, and pest management
• Assist with construction projects involving hardscape features or landscape structures while adhering to safety standards

Experience

• Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture with knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for construction or landscape projects
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance is highly desirable
• Experience in tree care including trimming, pruning, planting or removal is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols
