Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and effectively
• Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health management
• Perform landscape construction activities including hardscape installation like patios or walkways and soil preparation
• Manage lawn care routines including aeration, fertilization, pest control (pesticide management), and snow plowing during winter months
• Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote growth and safety while adhering to horticultural best practices

Experience

• Previous experience working with landscaping or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Basic mechanical knowledge related to landscape equipment and hand tools is advantageous
• Construction experience involving the use of power tools or heavy machinery such as excavators enhances your suitability for this role
• Knowledge of plant identification, tree care, pest management, or snow plowing contributes to success in this position
