Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy, lush lawns.
• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, planting, and horticultural practices.
• Operate hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, shovels, and saws safely and efficiently.
• Use construction equipment like excavators for larger landscaping projects involving grading or hardscape installation.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to promote optimal plant health and water efficiency.
• Build and repair hardscape elements including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures.
• Conduct landscape maintenance routines to preserve the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces throughout the seasons.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant care and landscape maintenance techniques.
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, construction equipment such as excavators, and hand tools safely.
• Familiarity with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and snow plowing during winter months.
• Knowledge of tree care practices such as pruning and trimming to ensure healthy growth and safety.
• Ability to perform gardening tasks with attention to detail while following safety protocols.
