Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to keep lawns healthy and lush
• Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and lawns through pruning, trimming, planting, and watering
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, edging, mulching, and general landscape maintenance
• Install hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden borders using appropriate construction techniques
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, and removal with proper safety procedures
• Manage irrigation systems by installing new setups or repairing existing systems to ensure optimal watering schedules
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access around properties

Experience

• Proven experience in landscaping or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant care and landscape maintenance techniques
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating equipment such as excavators, power tools, and lawn machinery
• Familiarity with gardening practices including soil preparation, fertilization, pest management, and plant health assessment
• Knowledge of hardscape construction methods and materials used in outdoor projects
