Job Summary

Material Delivery Driver is responsible for picking up and delivering materials to crews throughout the metro area. They will work directly with the Operations manager to complete their assignments. Depending on the time delivery assignments are completed, the Material Delivery Driver may have to assist the landscape crew with their assigned tasks. Location of the job may vary day to day depending on which work orders you are assigned to. A company truck will be provided for travel throughout the metro area while completing customers orders. Hours may fluctuate based on the weather and needs.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

Material Delivery Driver must perform the following duties through the spring, summer, and fall months:

• Pick up/deliver materials and equipment to job sites as needed
• Ensure the correct materials are picked up (quantity and quality)
• Safely maneuver truck on job site to discharge materials
• Assist with assignments on job sites when delivery is slow. Activities include but are not limited to: hands on work, operating a variety of machinery, etc.
• Manage personnel effectively and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with customers, crews, and office personnel
• Ensure the proper care and safety operations of equipment
