Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure healthy and attractive lawns and gardens
• Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes to support planting, soil preparation, and general landscaping tasks
• Use power tools responsibly for tasks like edging, trimming bushes, or installing hardscape features such as patios or walkways
• Support tree care activities including planting, pruning, trimming, and removal using appropriate tools and techniques
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and assisting with installation or repairs as needed
• Help with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible
• Assist with construction projects involving landscape installation, hardscape setup, or site cleanup to ensure timely project completion

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating equipment like excavators or other construction machinery is a plus
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including horticulture principles and plant care techniques
