Duties

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers with proper horticultural techniques
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep turf healthy and lush
• Use hand tools and power tools for trimming, pruning, hedge shaping, and general maintenance of plants and trees
• Operate equipment like excavators and snow plows safely for construction projects or seasonal cleanup
• Maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape structures
• Support irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure efficient watering of landscapes
• Conduct routine landscape maintenance tasks including weeding, mulching, and debris removal to keep outdoor spaces pristine

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping
• Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, tree trimming, or horticulture practices
• Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not required; training will be provided if needed
• Strong work ethic with physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and landscape maintenance practices
