Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep landscapes vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators and lawn mowers safely and efficiently
• Assist with landscape construction projects such as hardscape installation, planting beds, and garden features
• Manage irrigation systems by installing, repairing, and maintaining sprinklers and drip lines to ensure optimal watering
• Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and pest management practices are followed
• Conduct seasonal tasks like winterizing plants to keep landscapes protected
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal with proper techniques and safety measures

Qualifications

• Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for motivated learners
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification and landscape design fundamentals is advantageous
• Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation enhances your ability to contribute effectively
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating equipment such as excavators or irrigation systems is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards is essential
