Landscape Laborer

Duties

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, and laying hardscape features such as patios and walkways
• Perform lawn care tasks like mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces pristine
• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, irrigation system installation and repair.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, skidsteer, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct routine landscape maintenance to ensure gardens, lawns, and hardscape elements remain healthy and attractive
• Support tree care activities including planting, pruning, removal, and health assessments
• Assist with general site cleanup and ongoing maintenance to uphold high standards of safety and quality

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping and construction environments
• Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners as well as power tools including trimmers and blowers
• Familiarity with irrigation systems is a plus
• Strong work ethic with physical stamina for outdoor labor in various weather conditions
