Responsibilities

• Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and watering to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including edging, pruning, and debris removal
• Support the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Perform lawn care duties such as aeration, fertilization, and overseeding to promote lush turf growth
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to enhance landscape aesthetics and safety
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and assisting with system adjustments or repairs
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for properties and pathways

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot equipment like excavators, lawnmowers, trimmers, and other landscaping machinery
• Experience with landscape maintenance techniques including gardening, horticulture practices, and hardscape installation
