Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios or walkways.
• Perform routine lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy, attractive lawns.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, pruning, aerating, and installing irrigation systems.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including watering, mulching, pruning trees and shrubs, and seasonal clean-up.
• Support construction projects by operating equipment such as excavators or other machinery under supervision to assist with site preparation or hardscape installation.
• Maintain safety standards by inspecting tools and equipment regularly and adhering to safety protocols during all tasks.
• Assist with snow plowing or winter maintenance duties when seasonal conditions require extra support.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or knowledge of landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience operating power tools, hand tools, or construction equipment such as excavators is highly advantageous.
