Landscape Laborer

Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and watering to ensure lush and healthy gardens.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, pruning, and installing landscape features.
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth.
• Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes.
• Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways and driveways clear and safe.
• Assist with hardscape projects such as installing patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, raking leaves, and ensuring tools are properly stored after use.

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating equipment like excavators or other construction machinery.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care practices enhances your ability to contribute effectively.
