Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, gardening, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including trimming, edging, and installing landscape features
• Support construction projects by preparing sites, digging with hand tools or excavators, and installing hardscape elements like patios or walkways
• Perform lawn care activities including aeration, fertilizing, and overseeding to promote lush turf growth
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to maintain safety and aesthetics
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and assisting with installation or repairs
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for properties

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators are preferred
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is highly desirable
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
