Responsibilities

Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine and inviting. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for planting, soil preparation, and landscape installation. Support the installation of hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures. Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, and troubleshooting sprinkler setups to ensure proper watering schedules. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to support proper landscaping practices and plant health. Perform basic tree care including trimming and pruning to promote growth and safety. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge for operating equipment such as excavators and other construction machinery. Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and horticulture practices. Ability to identify different plant species and understand their specific care requirements. Knowledge of pesticide management for pest control and plant health maintenance.
