Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure healthy, attractive turf.
• Maintain landscape features by pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care activities.
• Operate equipment like excavators, skid steers, and other machinery safely for site preparation and hardscape installation.
• Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of landscaped areas.
• Conduct general landscape maintenance including debris removal, mulching, and seasonal snow plowing when necessary.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools to complete daily tasks efficiently and safely.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment and tools effectively.
• Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape construction and horticulture principles.
• Experience operating machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus.
