Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation tasks including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to perform lawn care, trimming, mowing, and general landscaping duties.
• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, and irrigation system setup.
• Support landscape maintenance activities like fertilizing, aerating, and soil preparation to ensure healthy plant growth.
• Use equipment such as excavators and other construction machinery for site preparation or hardscape installation under supervision.
• Perform routine gardening tasks including watering, mulching, and weed control to promote healthy landscapes.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscape areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and address them promptly.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment.
• Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care techniques, and irrigation systems is a plus.
• Ability to operate construction machinery such as excavators safely when needed.
