Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, edging, digging, and other landscaping activities
• Support the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures
• Conduct lawn care activities including aeration, fertilization, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and performing routine repairs
• Perform tree care tasks such as trimming, pruning, and supporting young trees to promote healthy growth
• Support excavation work using equipment like excavators under supervision for site preparation or landscaping projects

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
• Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, or horticulture
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and snow plows safely
• Knowledge of tree care practices such as trimming and pruning is a plus
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
