Landscape Laborer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, installation, and care, ensuring that properties are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained throughout the seasons.

Duties

• Perform general landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Conduct tree care activities including tree trimming and removal as needed.
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Provide gardening services including planting, weeding, and mulching.
• Operate excavators and other machinery safely to assist in landscaping projects.
• Participate in snow plowing during winter months to maintain access to properties.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping equipment.
• Experience in lawn care and landscape maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping tasks.
• Familiarity with horticulture principles for effective plant care.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems for optimal water management.
• Experience in construction-related tasks is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to perform tree care activities including trimming and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
