Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including digging, trimming, and installing landscape features
• Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, and retaining walls using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal with proper techniques and safety precautions
• Assist with gardening duties such as soil preparation, planting new greenery, and mulching to enhance landscape aesthetics

Experience

• Previous experience with landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training for motivated learners
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous
• Basic mechanical knowledge helps in understanding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of horticulture principles enhances your ability to care for plants and trees effectively
• Experience in construction or hardscape installation is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards is essential
