Duties

• Assist with irrigation installation and repairs.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks like digging, planting, and installing landscape features.
• Support the installation of hardscape elements including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other decorative features.
• Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of lawns and gardens.
• Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients and team members.
• Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth.
• Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety and optimal performance on all projects.

Skills

• Basic mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment effectively.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, planting, irrigation setup, and garden care.
• Familiarity with hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) used in landscaping projects.
• Ability to operate machinery like excavators or similar construction equipment when needed.
• Understanding of horticulture principles related to plant health and landscape design.
