Responsibilities

Assist with landscape installation and construction projects, including hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Perform landscape maintenance tasks like mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy. Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete landscaping tasks. Manage irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and routine maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Identify different plant species and perform plant care activities such as mulching, staking, and pest management. Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.

Requirements

Previous experience in landscaping or related construction work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated individuals. Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators are advantageous. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and pest management is a plus.
