Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks including edging, digging, and installing landscape features
• Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction projects
• Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and snow plowing during winter months
• Aid in tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
• Help with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of landscapes
• Conduct general site cleanup and maintenance to uphold safety standards and project quality

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction
• Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance preferred
• Strong work ethic with physical stamina for outdoor labor in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including tree trimming, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and general garden care is advantageous
