Duties

• Assist with lawn care activities including mowing, edging, trimming, and aeration to keep lawns lush and healthy
• Support landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, and watering to promote plant health
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, edging, and installing landscape features
• Help with the installation of hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures
• Perform tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to enhance landscape aesthetics and safety
• Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of landscapes

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge for operating equipment like excavators and other construction machinery
• Experience with lawn care, gardening, landscaping, and horticulture practices
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in landscape maintenance and construction
• Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming and pruning for health and safety
• Ability to perform general landscape maintenance tasks with attention to detail
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and snow plowing operations is a plus
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols in outdoor environments
