Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation projects including planting, sod laying, and hardscape construction
• Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy turf growth
• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, and shrub care using hand tools and power tools
• Operate equipment like excavators, and irrigation systems to support various seasonal tasks
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including irrigation system checks, gardening tasks, and leaf removal during winter months
• Support tree care efforts by planting new trees, pruning existing ones, and ensuring their health through proper horticultural practices
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on landscaping tools and machinery

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping tasks such as lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is required
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and effectively
• Basic mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
• Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including snow plowing in winter
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and tree care techniques is a plus
