Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of lawns, gardens, trees, and hardscape features using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators.
• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming trees, and snow plowing during appropriate seasons.
• Support landscape maintenance activities like irrigation system installation and repair, horticulture tasks, and general gardening duties.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Engage with customers by providing knowledgeable advice on landscaping options, plant care, and maintenance services to generate sales opportunities.
• Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up materials, and ensuring all tools and equipment are maintained in excellent condition.
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects such as hardscape construction or tree care to ensure timely completion of jobs.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment including hand tools, power tools, and excavators.
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate construction machinery safely and effectively.
• Strong knowledge of tree care practices such as trimming and pruning.
• Basic understanding of irrigation systems and snow plowing procedures.
