Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Perform lawn care activities like aeration, fertilization, and irrigation system installation or repair
• Conduct tree care tasks such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
• Maintain equipment including excavators and other construction machinery through routine inspections and basic repairs
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators
• Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape best practices is a plus
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety procedures when handling equipment like chainsaws, trimmers, or snow plows
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
