Landscape Crew Member

Landscape Crew Member serves to provide the highest quality service while creating a personal connection with clients. Job activities can range from landscape installs and maintenance, tree care and hardscaping. Crew members are to bring a positive attitude to work daily and have a passion for creating beauty on our client’s sites.

* DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate heavier equipment
• Operate a truck and trailer to carry equipment to and from job sites
• Install paver patios, retaining walls, and fire and water features
• Remove weeds and dead plants; prune overgrown limbs occasionally
• Are able to take instruction from a manager and constructive criticism when necessary and apply knowledge
• Maintain the existing landscaping design and ensure plant survival
• Install new flowers, bushes, plants, and decorative shrubs
• Remove tree limbs, overgrowth, and other hazards when necessary
• Oversee and notify managers of required or possible maintenance repairs to equipment
• Be personable, able to talk with customers if approached, and be willing to help if needed.

* * REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school degree or equivalent educational experience
• 2 years of experience in landscaping and hardscaping
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have a clean driving record
• Able to work independently
• Able to work well with others
• Must have experience using heavy equipment, landscape design, and horticulture practices.
• Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
