Hardscape Laborer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, diligent and active landscape laborer to join our team. If you have a passion for working with your hands, are physically fit, love working outdoors and are receptive to direction this role is perfect for you. This role will be part time with the potential to move to full time.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and weeding (or are willing to learn how to do these tasks accurately and with sincere time awareness)
• Lift between 25-50 lbs continuously to complete a task
• Take direction precisely with an understanding of the full scope of work
• Take direction from foreman and lead crew members

• Operate and maintain various hand tools and power tools efficiently
• Assist in irrigation system setup and maintenance
• Keep garden areas clean and organized
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute garden installations

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in landscape maintenance or greenhouse work is a plus
• Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Experience lifting stone and cement, placing cement, installing irrigation, grading and terraforming.

- Heavy machinery experience a plus

- Plant knowledge an even bigger plus

- Light maintenance experience necessary

-Willing to drive to residential job site

-Can receive and integrate instructions with a positive mind and can-do attitude

-Excited to grow with a team of unique individuals all developing new & additional skills

-Willing to grow in responsibility and pay in a long term specialized role
