Seasonal Full Time Lawn and Landscaping Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of commercial landscapes. The ideal candidate should have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of landscaping skills to ensure high-quality service delivery. Must also have a valid drivers license and the ability to work at early hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns to maintain a neat appearance.
• Execute snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Dig and prepare soil for planting, ensuring optimal conditions for growth.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to promote healthy landscapes.
• Provide tree care services, including tree trimming and removal as necessary.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, and fertilizing.
• Build landscape features such as flower beds, retaining walls, or pathways as required.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently.

Experience

• Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with mowing equipment, hand tools, and irrigation systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of tree care practices and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
